Cool Keychain Gadgets

This little keychain can save all your prized possesions like keys, phones etc and even add support to you incase the boat crashes or sinks (God forbid). This little gadget also has a LED light inside it that blinks for 24 hours to attract a search crew. This one seems pretty nifty. Though I have to question it's toughness, it looks like a standard baloon.

There are lots of USB keychains out there, but how many of them are disguised as robots trying to decapitate themselves? Not many my friend. Designed just like a robot with the pop-off head to appears the USB thumb. Measures only 75 x 62 x 13mm with 60g of weigh and has 4GB storage memory capacity. This tiny USB 2.0 robot also can be a keychain and only available in silver chrome color.

Fresh from the Orient (literally!), these living miniature bonsai plants grow in peat moss and are encased with small clear cylindrical capsule. PetPlants come with a lanyard that is ideal for your mobile phone or key chain so you can carry them with you anywhere to show your friends, and are lots of fun to grow and care for. Just give them sunshine or office light, and water occasionally, and they will grow in their capsule. Treating your PetPlant with TLC (Tender Loving Care) is the main requirement! Once they outgrow their capsule (3-6 months) they can be easily transplanted to a larger pot for your home or garden - or give them as a special present to your loved one.

You know that excitement that wells up inside of you when you get an unopened parcel? Well, Bandai wonders: What's the best part? Opening it, or getting what's inside? If you get a little tingle out of ripping the seal, then look no further than Bandai's Peri Peri keychain toy. For whatever reason, it'll simulate just that — for as many times as you like. "No more wasting time. Enjoy your life forever!!" the product’s description reads.

The keychain even includes a built-in speaker that makes sound effects of, um, "roulette mode, cat mode, bingo mode and so on." I can only begin to wonder what "so on" entails. But beware. The website warns: "Once you play this Peri Peri toy, you could get addict as sooner. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed." If opening mail is so fun, why is this guy crying?

LifeStat is an emergency airway device for use in respiratory obstruction or failure. This innovative device facilitates a lifesaving method (cricothyroid notch) in emergencies when other efforts have failed. This is used to puncture someones throat, in case of some sort of obstruction. I guess it beats a ballpoint pen.

The Keychain Speaker is compatible with any device that features a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) headphone socket – like MP3 players, PDAs, portable gaming systems and computers. It comes with a USB connection included to recharge it's built-in battery. I'm not sure why anyone would want a little mono speaker keychain. I can't imagine the sound quality is very high, it is probably akin to a wrist watch alarm. Do you really want to carry around a one inch cube in your pocket? Is that a one inch speaker in your pocket, or are you just not very happy to see me.

This swell goldfish keychain/coffin is in the shape of a heart, and sports a little symbol from the Beijing Olympic Games on it. Nothing says love and sportsmanship like a goldfish in a sealed tomb. Perfect for the animal love in your life.

Each keychain device has 8 rubbery little “bubble” buttons. They have a pretty close tactile feel to actual bubble wrap. Guess what happens when you push one? That’s right, you hear a little pop. In a nutshell, that is the simple beauty of the electronic bubble wrap keychain. But there is one bonus, and here’s where the OCD can kick in a little. Every 100th “pop” is not a pop at all, but a silly sound: a boing, a bark, a rude noise, etc. And since you can easily pop (pun intended) the keychain in your pocket, you’ll always have bubble wrap when you need it most (you know, like when your boss starts talking).

  4. It's amazing how stupid they're at the same time, to put a living animal into a plastic bubble.

  5. I like the robot USB and key chain, they look so funny but cute though. I’m just not agreeing with the key chain with a gold fish inside, the poor little fish will die inside. Can that plastic bubble be opened any time to feed or change the water it contains?

  6. Actually the goldfish one is a coffin for a dead goldfish. Just saying. Also, what if you accidentally activated the air balloon floaty one in your pocket LOL.

  8. The goldfish one is just evil. Have a look at the nite range of stuff for keys, found at Greenman Bushcraft (google it) they are really cool, and glow for 10 years!

And to answer the ballon/pocket question - you can't they have to be under water to activate :)
