This one snake was all, I'm hungry. And the other snake was all, so? What do I care? And the other one was all, nom, nom, nom, and ate the other one. Moral of the story? Stay away from snakes, they can't be trusted.
Were those photo's taken in Texas? Because the snake being eaten is definitely a western diamondback and the one eating it LOOKS like a Texas indigo...
Black snakes are wonderful. They are not poisonous yet they eat poisonous snakes. In some cultures they are considered good luck.
