The faucet has an incredibly elegant design, and the water coming out of it continues that idea. The swirling water pattern is created by using two small turbines that rotate in opposite directions.
According to Qiu, the design uses 15% less water than a regular faucet, but maintains the same water pressure over the same amount of time, although that has yet to be independently verified.
Currently the faucet is only a concept, but Qiu is working to build a prototype.
