Fancy Bento Box Lunches

Bento boxes are single-portion takeout or home-packed meals, common in Japan. They are usually just composed of rice, meat, and one or more pickled or cooked vegetables. Think of them as Japanese versions of brown bag lunches. Check out the fancy bento box lunches at Woman's Day:

According to artist Jana Al Ghunaim, this Simpson family bento box was fun and easy to make. Using cheese for their heads and black olives for the eyes, she created mini sandwiches by placing them atop whole-wheat bread. Meanwhile, Marge’s hair and necklace are made from Cap’n Crunch cereal.
